The vision for our sub-committee is to promote and encourage equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within the engineering profession. As engineers, we solve problems for the benefit of society, and so having a diverse team will allow us to develop solutions that are inclusive of society’s diverse needs and perspectives. Our sub-committee is also working to create a supportive and inclusive engineering community for the next generation of engineers through outreach at Edmonton area schools.
